Highlighting that many postgraduate medical aspirants are in trouble due to incomplete registration/NRI quota issues because of technical glitches, the doctors have now requested the Union Health Ministry and the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) to reopen the portal.
The doctors' demand comes amid the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) announcing an extension of the choice filling process for Round 1 of NEET PG Counselling for the academic year 2025 until further notice.
The NEET PG Counselling 2025 process has been marred by technical issues, leaving many students struggling to complete their registrations. The MCC's decision to extend the choice filling process has provided some relief, but doctors are now calling for the registration portal to be reopened to allow students to complete their registrations.
The reopening of the registration portal would allow students to complete their registrations and participate in the counselling process. This would be a significant relief for students who have been struggling with technical issues and would ensure that they are not left out of the counselling process.
Students who are struggling with technical issues should keep an eye on the official website of the MCC for updates on the registration portal. They should also be prepared to complete their registrations as soon as the portal is reopened.
