Jharkhand PG medical admissions 2025: The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board has begun the process for online counselling of Post Graduate Medical courses under the State Quota seats based on the NEET PG results for the academic year 2025.
According to the notice issued by the JCECEB in this regard, the eligible NEET PG 2025 candidates can apply for admission to Jharkhand’s State Quota PG seats by filling the online application form till November 5, 2025, on the official website of JCECEB.
Important Dates to Remember
- Online Application Form filling & Certificates/Documents Uploading: 02 to 05 November 2025
- Publication of Provisional State Merit List for 1st Round of Online Counselling: 07 November 2025
- Objection on Provisional State Merit List (In case of any discrepancy/anomaly in Candidate's Merit Rank, the applicant must inform the Board for correction with supporting document(s) by e-mail: 08 to 09 November 2025
- Publication of Final State Merit List for 1st Round of Online Counselling: 10 November 2025
- Online Registration & Choice Filling for Seat Allotment: 11 to 14 November 2025
- Issue of Provisional Seat Allotment Letter: 16 November 2025
- Certificates /Documents verification and admission in the concerned Institute: 17 to 20 November 2025
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria-
- The Candidates who have passed MBBS from any medical institute/college of Jharkhand state or those who are residents of Jharkhand state and had been admitted in MBBS course in Medical colleges of Bihar in session starting from the formation of the Jharkhand state or before the creation of the Jharkhand state and have passed MBBS from such colleges are eligible for admission in PG course in Medical College/Institute of the State.
- Local Residents of Jharkhand state and serving Doctors in the State Government, even if they have passed the MBBS examination from a Medical College/Institute situated outside the state, are eligible for admission on the State Quota of PG seats. It will be mandatory for them to produce a Local Resident certificate issued by the CO/SDO (Civil)/DC of the Jharkhand State.
- Candidate must have Permanent /Temporary Registration from NMC or Jharkhand State Medical Council. Even in the case of Temporary Registration, they will be eligible for admission in PG course, but it will be mandatory for them to get Permanent Registration by the last date of admission; otherwise, the admission of the candidate will be cancelled.
- The candidate must have completed/ be going to complete the Rotating Internship for PG Medical by 31.07.2025.
Application Registration Fee
The application registration fee for Jharkhand PG medical admissions 2025 is as follows-
- General/ EWS/BC-I/ BC II: Rs 1000/-
- SC/ST/Female candidates of all categories: Rs 500/-
- Divyang candidate: -
Counselling Fee
The counselling fee for Jharkhand PG medical admissions 2025 is as follows-
- General/ EWS/BC-1/BC II: Rs 2000/-
- SC/ST/ Female candidates of all categories: Rs 1200/-
Security Deposit
The security deposit for Jharkhand PG medical admissions 2025 is as follows-
- Government: 30,000/- (UR/EWS) 15,000/-(ST/SC/OBC/PWD)
- Private edical College-2 Laс Dental College-1 Lac
- Both (Government/Private): Medical College-2 Lac Dental College-1 Lac
- Stray/Mop-up 50.000/-
