The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), New Delhi, has extended the thesis submission deadline for the DNB Final Theory Examination-December 2025 session. As per the official notice, the revised deadline for DNB final theory submission is November 12.
As per NBEMS norms, thesis submission is mandatory for all DNB trainees as part of the eligibility criteria for the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) qualification. Earlier, the deadline for submission was September 30, 2025, at 11:55 PM.
The extension of the DNB final thesis submission deadline is a relief for many NEET PG aspirants who were facing difficulties in submitting their theses on time. However, it is essential for aspirants to note that no further extensions will be provided, and those who do not submit their theses by the revised deadline will be considered ineligible to appear for the December 2025 examination.
Students who are yet to submit their theses should do so immediately. They should also ensure that they meet all the eligibility criteria for the DNB Final Theory Examination-December 2025 session. Students can check the official website of NBEMS for more information and updates.
All the concerned trainees and accredited institutions are informed that no further extension shall be given, and those trainees who do not submit their Thesis by 12.11.2025 (11:55 PM), shall be rendered ‘ineligible’ to appear in their DNB Final Theory Examination-December 2025 session.
