NEET PG 2025 Counselling: MCC Releases Schedule at mcc.nic.in; Choice Filling Begins for AIQ Seats
NEET PG 2025 counselling schedule has been released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The counselling schedule is available at the official website — mcc.nic.in.
As per the schedule released by the National Board of Examinations for Medical Sciences (NBEMS), verification of the seat matrix has been done on October 23 followed by choice filing and locking options that will begin from October 28 to November 5.
NEET PG 2025 Counselling Dates for AIQ seats
- Verification of Tentative Seat Matrix: October 23, 2025
- Registration / Payment Period: October 17 – November 5, 2025
- Choice Filling / Locking: October 28 – November 5, 2025 (Lock: November 5)
- Processing of Seat Allotment: November 6 – November 7, 2025
- Result Date: November 8, 2025
- Reporting / Joining: November 9 – November 15, 2025
What Students Should Do Now
Candidates who have qualified for all India quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET PG are eligible to participate in the counselling process. The registration for round 1 has already started.
The Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is responsible to conduct the on-line counselling for 50 per cent all India quota (AIQ) PG medical and dental seats.
NEET PG Counselling 2025: Participatory institutions
MCC will conduct counselling for the following institutions/ universities:
- 50 per cent all India quota seats of all states (participation of the Union Territory of J&K is subject to their contribution of seats)
- 100 per cent seats (AIQ seats + institutional quota seats) of central universities
- 100 per cent seats of deemed universities
- 50 per cent AIQ PG seats of colleges under the Employee State Insurance Corporation (wards of ESIC insured persons)
- All PG seats of Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions (only registration part)
- Central institutes, VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital, ABVIMS and RML Hospital and ESIC Institute, PGIMSR, Basaidarapur (50 per cent AIQ seats and 50 per cent seats of IP University)
