The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the choice filling process for Round 1 of NEET PG Counselling 2025. Doctors demand reopening of registration portal to address incomplete registration and NRI quota issues.
The doctors' demand comes amid the MCC announcing an extension of the choice filling process for Round 1 of NEET PG Counselling 2025. The MCC has informed all the candidates that the competent authority has decided to extend the Choice Filling of Round-1 of PG Counselling 2025 till further notice, as the seat matrix has to be revised, due to information received from the National Medical Counselling (NMC) for changes in PG seats and the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for withdrawal of 169 PG DNB seats after the start of Round-1 of PG Counselling.
The extension of the choice filling process is a relief for many NEET PG aspirants who were facing issues with the registration process. However, the doctors are demanding that the registration portal be reopened to address incomplete registration and NRI quota issues.
The United Doctors' Front (UDF) has requested the authorities to consider the genuine demand of the aspirants and reopen the portal to ensure justice and transparency for all.
NEET PG aspirants are advised to keep an eye on the MCC website for the revised schedule and seat matrix of Round-1 of All India PG Counselling 2025. They should also ensure that they complete their registration process and address any issues related to incomplete registration or NRI quota.
Aspirants can also reach out to the MCC or the UDF for any queries or concerns related to the NEET PG Counselling process.
