The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) is a national-level entrance examination for admission to postgraduate medical courses in India. The examination is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) and the counselling process is managed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
The NEET PG Counselling delay has sparked outrage among doctors, who have slammed the National Medical Commission (NMC), NBE, and MCC over 'mismanagement'. The delay has caused inconvenience to thousands of aspirants who are waiting for the admission process to begin.
Doctors have taken to social media to express their frustration and disappointment over the delay. Many have slammed the NMC, NBE, and MCC for their 'mismanagement' and have demanded clarity regarding the official schedule and seat matrix for the PG Medical Seats.
Every year, it’s the same story — NMC and MCC fail to do their job properly. They are unable to conduct PG, UG, or SS counselling on time. Even three months after the NEET PG exam, they keep delaying the counselling. It’s delay after delay, year after year.
